Coral Classon

BA, Dip Ed, Grad Dip, MEd - English Literature educator
Coral has had extensive experience in teaching English and LOTE in both city and country schools. After re-training in ESL in mid-career, she has focussed mainly on ESL and on the transition of ESL students into secondary schools. She currently teaches Year 12 students in revision classes, assesses trial examination papers, and reviews trial papers for a publishing firm. She has been involved in VCAA assessment of ESL for over ten years, and for several years has been a member of the executive group. In the period 2000-2002 she was a member of the Year 12 English Text Selection Committee, which allowed her to exercise her enduring enthusiasm for the task of matching prescribed texts to the needs and abilities of ESL students. The Access Education ESL revision lectures are jointly presented by Coral Classon and Michael Daniel.
